The two men who died in a serious car crash over the weekend have been identified by police as Mark Suda Jr., 40, and Repingeni Santos, 45.
The two were in a red sedan headed north along Route 1 Marine Corps Drive when they collided with a dump truck in Asan on Sunday.
The driver of the dump truck remains in critical condition at the Guam Memorial Hospital.
Investigators with the Guam Police Department learned the driver of the sedan lost control of his car when he went into the oncoming lane and crashed into the dump truck.
Officers with GPD’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the crash.
This marks 26 traffic-related deaths recorded in Guam this year.
