Tomas Calvo receives award at world famous hotel

In a remarkable achievement, Tomas Calvo, a proud son of Guam, has been recognized as the Employee of the Quarter at the prestigious Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
Calvo's journey from his roots in Guam to this renowned 5-Star property reflects not only his personal success but also the recognition of his dedication and excellence in the hospitality industry.
Joining The Beverly Hills Hotel just over a year ago, Tomas has quickly ascended the ranks, now holding the position of Guest Relations Host.
The Employee of the Quarter accolade is a testament to his embodiment of the hotel's core values: Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together, and Creativity.
The award, given to outstanding team members, puts Tomas in contention for the coveted "Employee of the Year" title.
His rapid progression underscores not only his commitment to the hotel's values but also his potential for further growth in ultra-luxury hotel operations.
Calvo, a 2018 graduate of Father Duenas Memorial School and a 2022 graduate in Hospitality & Tourism Management from California Lutheran University, expressed his gratitude upon receiving the award.
