Jim Oehlerking, incoming Chief Technology Officer, CITADEL Data Centers

CITADEL Pacific Ltd. announced a strategic realignment aimed at strengthening its commitment to leading innovation and excellence. 

Jim Oehlerking is set to lead CITADEL Pacific Ltd. effective January 2024. Stepping into the key role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Oehlerking would be part of the newest addition of the CITADEL portfolio of companies known as CITADEL Data Center. 

CITADEL Data Centers aims to provide reliable and secure data storage while bringing computing power closer to users, employing the latest Tier 3 platform designs for low-latency, secure, and seamless connections across Asia Pacific’s rapidly growing markets.

Oehlerking, who has been instrumental in IT&E’s success since 2015 as CEO, will use his wealth of experience to oversee the evolution and development of CITADEL Data Centers. Under his leadership, IT&E expanded and upgraded cellular, internet, and Enterprise/IT services across Guam and CNMI, with plans for a high-speed 5G launch in Q1 2024.

Additionally, David Gibson will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IT&E effective January 2024. 

With over 25 years of telecommunications experience, Gibson, the former Chief Revenue Officer at Commnet Broadband, brings a wealth of leadership and strategic expertise to his new position. Gibson’s previous roles include President of Locke Hill Advisors, Senior Vice President at First Light Fiber, and Vice President of Business Development at BayRing Communications. 

As a community advocate, he has served as the School Board Chairperson for the Barrington, New Hampshire School District. Gibson also holds a BS from the University of New Hampshire.
