House fire in Chalan Pago

Large smoke was seen billowing into the air in Chalan Pago Monday afternoon.

Units with the Guam Fire Department responded to an abandoned home off Route 4 behind MJ Mart around 1 pm.

Flames covered the semi-concrete building. It was put out within an hour, according to GFD spokesperson Kevin Reilly.

No injuries were reported.
