Calvo's SelectCare has acquired longtime Guam underwriter Tokio Marine Pacific Insurance (TMPI).

In announcing the deal Calvo's SelectCare said, “This strategic move solidifies Calvo's commitment to enhancing its market presence and provides a broader offering of high quality products.”

TMPI was the local subsidiary of one of the largest private insurance groups in Japan.

Its name has formally changed to Calvo’s SelectCare Insurance, INC, and SelectCare Administrator Frank Campillo was named the new company's President.

Calvo Enterprises Chairman and President Leonard Calvo said, “This is an exciting new era for our company. While we have been serving the people of Guam for more than eight decades, we continue to grow and find ways to innovate for the future to better serve our customers and the community.”
