Sale-Mageddon has hit our island, as Friday saw Day 2 of the massive deals at Kmart. The crowds rushing to the Tamuning store to get their hands on as many items as possible.

The crowds are not holding back. Friday was the second day of Kmart's massive blue light specials. Many in Guam rushing down and gathering inside the Tamuning store.  Among them Malesso resident Khem Kate, who saw others heading to kmart on social media.   “It was all over facebook. So, we came down to see," she said.

Shoppers like her filling up their carts with as many sale items as they can get.

The prices are really one for the record books – a blouse?  $0.99 and an entire rack of goods was $0.49. A post-holiday shopping spree that got masses coming over here, taking risks to get their hands on it all.

It's why Kate tells us she was there for the deals and thrills, saying, “We just saw everybody crowding up here, so we just wanted to join the fun.”

The sale day happening on Santa Rita resident Erline De Reyes' day off from work.  She tried her luck Thursday, but by the time she showed up the shelves were pretty much cleared out.  "I lost hope because yesterday there was no more. The shelves were already vacant. So after my doctors appointment, I just came. I didn't expect there’s still a sale. But I found there’s still a sale. So good!" she shared.

Staff started the day quickly restocking.  The prices at a record low.

De Reyes added, "I just saw the gowns are only $0.49 cents so I just got it for my kids. I don’t know if they want it, but I just got it. But I hope they want it and they like it!"

A mindset many shared as they took to the aisles. "The best deal are the pants! The pants are $0.99," said De Reyes. Asked if she's ever come across a sale like this before, she immediately said, "No, it’s my first time."

Dededo resident Aurora Ferraren, said the thing that blew her away was, “The $0.99 and $0.49. The clothing and the shoes - $0.99!”

A deal that shoppers here hope to see all year long.
