Students and staff at Agueda Middle School were forced to shelter in place Monday morning.

Guam Department of Education (GDOE) officials confirmed the modified action was implemented after contraband in one of the portable toilets on campus.

KUAM has learned the contraband was a bullet.

A resource attendance officer was called to the school to assist students and teachers.

Guam police officers were also on campus.

Education officials say GPD found no evidence that would endanger the students and staff.
