Helping to bring smiles to the faces of underserved communities, and in light of oral health month, MidPac and Payless Community Foundation donated toothbrushes and other hygiene products to the island’s foster children.

Today, officials with the Department of Public Health Division of Children’s Wellness and Harvest House gathered at Payless supermarket in Maite to receive 200 Oral-B toothbrushes and crest products.

The partnership came about back in January with MidPac’s promise to  donate a toothbrush, matching every purchase of the oral-B product at Payless.

Rosae Shandor, who’s with the Payless Foundation, had a hand in choosing the recipients.

“We had some words from public health and just to think of how much really are in need at this time–we’re touched to be a part of this collaboration with p&g, and we learned about other opportunities that we can further support the foster children,” said Shandor.

MidPac, adding they want to continue crest and Oral-B’s over 60-year vision of bringing happier and healthier smiles to homes.
