Child rapist gets 25 years

A man accused of raping three girls gets 25 years in prison and faces deportation.
Fifty-seven-year-old Ambrocio Teves was recently sentenced before Presiding Judge Alberto Lamorena in Superior Court.
The girls were each 11 and 12 at the time of the abuse, which occurred over a period of nine years.
Prosecutors noted the girls expressed how Teves robbed them of their childhood, adding how the abuse will impact them for the rest of their lives.
Teves is convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. He's now on the deportation list to be sent back to the Philippines.
The Attorney General is working with federal immigration authorities and the victims to decide when he should be deported.
