Quick thinking by a youngster led to a positive outcome during a threat made toward a local middle school.

A student at Agueda Johnston Middle School was quick to act after getting an alarming message on WhatsApp. 

The child taking the threat toward their campus directly to the administration who then called in Guam Police to investigate. 

Investigators were able to track down the suspect behind the threat. 

But the Guam Department of Education did not release any additional information about the suspect. 

Education officials stating, "There was no longer a credible threat to the school's community."

Officials adding steps have been taken "to reassure parents that enhanced safety measures are in place."
