A new federal indictment is handed against four men accused of smuggling meth into Guam.

The superseding indictment filed recently in the District Court of Guam named co-defendants Jonovan Cruz, Jeremy Cruz, Eric Cruz, and Jose Salazar.

The DEA investigated the group in March 2023 using a confidential source.

Investigators learned they would allegedly mail the drugs from Florida and sell it here in Guam.

The charges against the four include conspiracy to distribute 50 or more grams of meth, attempted possession with intent to distribute 50 or more grams of meth, engaging in monetary transactions with proceeds of specific unlawful activity, and conspiracy to engage in those same monetary transactions.

Authorities also seized nearly $29,000, five cars, and a rifle with ammunition.

Trial is set for Aug. 14.
