The Guam Power Authority confirmed that the first increment of funding under the Prugråman Ayuda Para I Taotao-Ta Energy Credit Program was received.

All qualified residential and commercial accounts should have the $100 credit added to the April 2024 billing cycle.

GPA ratepayers will see the credit listed in their online accounts immediately and on their next billing statement.

GPA general manager John Benavente says, "We will continue to work with our partners at Department of Administration to upload the $100 energy credits as soon as they become available.”

The new law extended the energy credit program for another six months, covering customers through September.
