More than 11 pounds of Fentanyl-laced pills seized in mail

A K9 with Guam Customs and Quarantine stopped a large amount of potentially deadly drugs from getting onto our streets. 

More than 11 pounds of pills that federal authorities have eyed as being laced with Fentanyl made its way into Guam's borders through the mail.

Records unsealed in the District Court of Guam today show the blue pills labeled M 30 was intercepted back in March.

Federal authorities have identified these pills as containing Fentanyl. 

The drugs were sent from an address in Portland, Oregon to a home in Dededo.

A drug detector dog alerted authorities to the package after it arrived to the Main Postal Facility in Barrigada in March.

The feds have spent the past four months trying to identify both the sender and the recipient.

No one has been charged yet in connection to the investigation.

Meantime, the Drug Enforcement Administration reports 27.9 million Fentanyl pills, so far, were seized nationwide this year.
