But why not combine the two? That’s the thought behind the healthy getaway at the Medical City’s Wellness and Aesthetics Institute.

Medical City's Executive vice president and CEO Ruben Kasala said, “That’s the big idea: you check your health while you’re on vacation," he said.

The program offers three packages, which include an array of services---like built-in diagnostics, procedures, and more.

Chief medical officer Gary Martinez said, “Those options can take place in the same setting in the same morning, not more than a day–and there’s lots of time to see Manila and shop and things like that," he said.

Higher tiers adding to those services with hotel accommodations at a 5-star hotel.

While another option comes with extra pampering for health enthusiasts in need of rest and relaxation.

And Christian Delos Reyes, chief strategy officer, said, "It would include both the procedures and the hotel accommodations, plus other services, facial with collagen mask and pore minimizer and plus there’s extra acupuncture procedure."

Services under the healthy getaway will take place in the wellness center, separate from the hospital.
