Guam will be represented by an 8-member team in Paris for the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, and the group will be our island's largest Olympic contingent since the 1996 summer Olympics in Atlanta. These elite athletes have distinguished themselves locally and regionally, and now face the greatest field in the sports, competing against the world.

Team Guam will participate in six events, led by seven outstanding women and one male sprinter, with the group including Guam's first three-time female Olympian, Regine Tugade. The team also features two sisters in wrestling, and the Paris games also marks Guam's debut in the triathlon:

  • Athetics: Joseph Green & Regine Tugade
  • Canoe & Kayak: Raina Taitingfong
  • Judo: Maria Escano
  • Triathlon: Manami Iijima
  • Wrestling: Mia-Lahnee Aquino & Rckaela Aquino
  • Weightlifting: Nicola Lagatao

The opening ceremonies for the Summer Olympics begins on July 27, so watch live on KUAM-TV8 and on Peacock.
