Admiral Samuel Paparo, Commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, visited Saipan and Tinian over the weekend. 

CNMI Gov. Arnold Palacios and Lt. Gov. David Apatang met Paparo when he landed at the Saipan International Airport and gave him a brief tour of Saipan. 

“During the meeting, the Commander reaffirmed regional commitments and discussed other collaborative efforts with the CNMI,” a press release from the Office of the Governor stated. 

Admiral Brent DeVore, Commander of Joint Region Marianas; Admiral Gregory Huffman, Commander of Joint Task Force Micronesia; and other military leaders were a part of the visiting delegation.
