Three people are taken to the Guam Regional Medical to be treated for minor injuries after a crash that involved four vehicles.

It happened at 3:32 p.m. Thursday along Route 16 near the Mobil gas station and Vinny's Mart, according to Guam Fire Department spokesperson Lt. Nick Garrido.

Images circulated online show the impact of the wreckage and at least one car flipped on its side.

A total of six people were involved but three others did not need to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

Motorists should expect traffic delays on route 16.

Guam police have announced temporary lane closure for drivers headed north while they investigate and work to clear the scene.
