Man charged in Talo'fo'fo murder denied request to get out of jail

A man who prosecutors allege provided the murder weapon in last month’s deadly shooting in Talo’fo’fo was denied his request to get out of prison.

Defendant Darryl Wayne Cundiff appeared before a Magistrate Judge in Superior Court today.

Last week, the judge nearly released him on house arrest.

Today's decision denying his release came after probation confirmed known convicts frequent the pago bay area where Cundiff camps out.

He remains held in the Department of Corrections prison.

As KUAM reported, Cundiff is the third defendant charged in connection to the July murder that claimed the life of Joshua Taitague.
