ESGR Week is underway, recognizing the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve group and the work they to do help local organizations ensure their staff who are in the military get their time off to serve.

Cathy Gogue spoke about the importance of the week, telling KUAM News, "This week is all about our employers and our servicemembers and all they do to to provide for our defense on Guam, as well as when they're called to do their duty. "

The week started with proclamation signing events at Adelup and the legislature, with the annual awards to be presented to outstanding employers on Thursday.
