Guam Waterworks Authority announces water outages, road closures in Dededo and Hagat

The Guam Waterworks Authority is announcing water outages and road closures affecting areas in the villages of Dededo and Hagat.

The southbound and northbound lanes of Alageta Road from Macheche Road traffic light to Ahau Lane in Macheche Dededo will be closed from Sept. 5, 2024 from 9 p.m. to Sept. 6, 2024, 2 a.m.

An alternative route will be Ahau Lane and Corenoso Street.

Additionally, in the village of Hagat, the intersection of Erskin Drive and Calle Delos Marteres Street will be closed from Sept. 6, 2024, 5 p.m. to Sept. 7, 2024, 5 a.m.

Cars can detour through surrounding streets.

GWA crews will be working repairing the main valve in these areas.

Hagat will also experience a water outage in Erskin Drive, Calle Delos Marteres, San Francisco, and its surrounding areas from Sept. 6, 2024, 9 p.m. to Sept. 7, 2024, 5 a.m.
