Down, set, hut! It's game day for the National Football League, and KUAM followed along as the season kicked off with a touchdown today.

Football fans worldwide huddled up to catch every play between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens, while back here at home, enthusiasts are tackling this must-see match at Carabao Brewing.

Among them is Wichita, Kansas, native Nick Kersting, who’s hoping the Chiefs score big with every snap.

“Three-peat baby! This is the beginning of it, so hopefully, we can win today and keep on winning for the rest of the season–go, chiefs,” said Kersting.

Dededo resident James Sandlin is also rooting for KC’s victory as he stands to win some big bucks.

“I hope I win my money today,” said Sandlin.

Carabao Brewing owner Anna Johnson created the perfect football fantasy for these folks, with wings, beer, and the best views of the gridiron.

And while she said every football fan is more than welcome on Team Carabao Brewing, she’s cheering this bunch on from the sidelines.

“The Chiefs have a great streak right now, Superbowl champs from last year–but I will say, I do love Baltimore, though! I might have to lean a little bit towards the Ravens. I’m always good for an underdog,” said Johnson.

With more football ahead, Carabao Brewing is the place to be, with burger and wings specials happening throughout the season.

“Tune in every Friday, and then we’re going to do Tuesday mornings as well–kind of getting going–we’re going to be opening early to make sure you get every single moment of football you can,” added Johnson.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs secured a victory in the NFL season opener with a final score of 27-20 against the Baltimore Ravens.
