KUAM News presents the 2024 Congressional Debate

Forty-two days and counting before the general election.

The race to watch is between Incumbent Delegate James Moylan and opponent Ginger Cruz.

In two weeks, KUAM News will have both candidates on stage for the 2024 Congressional Debate. 

The debate is set for Monday, Oct. 7 at the Encore Theater located at the Crowne Plaza in Tumon. 

Democrat candidate Cruz and representatives from Congressman Moylan's office met with KUAM producers today to discuss the guidelines of the event. 

It will be 90 minutes in length with each candidate getting a minute to answer the question and give a rebuttal. then the candidate who answered the question first will get 30 seconds to give a follow up response. 

A limited number of people from both campaigns will be in the audience.

Multiple local organizations have been invited as well to ask the candidates some questions. 

The KUAM News 2024 Congressional Debate begins on Monday, Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. following primetime.
