The Guam Power Authority confirmed that the September energy credit, the sixth and final credit in the current round of direct assistance to Guam’s residents, was posted last night.

The series of six $100 credits was made possible through the Prugråman Ayuda Para I Taotao-ta Energy Credit program, which made $600 in energy credits available.

GPA has uploaded the final $100 energy credit for September 2024 to all active residential and multi-family master meter accounts. GPA is working to reconcile balances and funding needed to apply credits to all remaining active accounts for the month of September.

GPA General Manager John M. Benavente, P.E. thanked Governor Lou Leon Guerrero, Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio, and Senators from the 37th Guam Legislature for their ongoing support in making the credits available to customers.

General Manager Benavente said, “We remind customers that the September credit is the last in this series of direct assistance under Public Law 37-104. To help reduce consumption and save on October power bills, we encourage customers to continue to Beat the Peak during the peak demand hours of 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. by turning off water heaters and other appliances.”

GPA customers can view the credit in their online accounts or their next billing statement.
