One person dead in Hagat crash

A late-night crash on Wednesday leaves one person dead marking the island's tenth traffic-related fatality of 2024.

At around 10:13pm, units with the Guam Fire Department responded to a vehicle that ran off the roadway by Inn on the Bay in Hagat.

According to GFD Spokesperson Lt. Nick Garrido, first responders initiated extrication of an individual in vehicle. However, due to serious injuries sustained, care was terminated.

Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route, as the Guam Police Department conducts their investigation.
