In the nation's capital, H.R. 522 known as the Deliver for Veterans Act moved to the Senate for a vote.

The House of Representatives unanimously passed the measure introduced by Guam Delegate James Moylan, who is seeking reelection.

Now, the bill would make it easier for veterans living in more remote areas such as Guam to avail of adaptive vehicles.

Moylan spoke more on it from Washington D.C.

“Provides grant money for veterans with disabilities who need adaptive vehicles in order to ship that vehicle to Guam,” Moylan said.

With the vehicle,  it gives disabled veterans the opportunity to travel to and from medical appointments.
