Accused gang leader awaits plea deal
The alleged gang leader accused in a Maite shooting that sent a teenage girl to the hospital was back in court today.
Defendant Mesemwan Repwak, who has since pleaded not guilty to all four cases filed against him including charges of attempted murder, could be getting a plea deal.
It was suggested in court that the government make a global offer to resolve all cases against Repwak.
Defense is now waiting for the prosecution to present a plea agreement.
As KUAM reported, Repwak led authorities on a manhunt after a spree of violent gang activity targeting drivers on the road to include the Maite shooting.
He remains held in the Department of Corrections prison.
