Rebuild of Simon Sanchez High School moves into next phase

SSFM International Inc. has been awarded the $7.9 million dollar contract for the construction management of the long-awaited rebuild of Simon Sanchez High School.

It’s another step closer to a new Home for the Sharks.

Adelup said the construction management firm will represent the Government of Guam and work with the Guam Economic Development Authority on the bidding process and project financing.

“This will really move us quicker and faster towards ground breaking. And now I am greatly excited to sign this contract....Biba, Sharks,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. 

As reported, the government repeatedly extended the deadline for a construction company to take on the job.
