Man allegedly stole three jars of marijuana
One man allegedly walked out of a Mangilao store in the middle of the day with three jars of marijuana.
Twenty-six-year-old Vicente Junior Crisostomo is charged with theft of property as a misdemeanor.
Court documents state staff from GCC Mart in Mangilao called Guam police for a theft that occurred.
The cashier told police that Crisostomo asked to see three jars of marijuana and one other item. When the cashier turned to grab the final item, Crisostomo allegedly walked out and was picked up by a red Mitsubishi Outlander.
Within the next hour, the car was found along with Crisostomo and the driver.
Crisostomo allegedly said to police, “Is this about the marijuana? If so, I can go pay for it.” He then admitted to stealing the jars.
A search found the three jars, however, two of them were empty.
