With September closing out, the Office of the Attorney General is kicking off October with a new “Meth Kills” campaign sign.

In response to the rising meth crisis and increase in drug-related deaths on Guam, the Office of Attorney General is aiming to raise awareness about the deadly effects of meth use and prevent the next generation from falling into addiction.

The OAG reports several crime victims have already died at the hands of meth-addicts this year with many more dying from “meth addict - on - meth addict” crimes, as well as overdoses.

The program began over the weekend and will continue to the end of this AG’s term.

The two-part program “Meth Kills,” is catered to teens and adults and educates our children with “Be Smart, Don’t Start,” being the second.
