Two recent homicide investigations remain unsolved

It's unclear how much closer police are to catching the suspects involved in two recent homicides.

The homicide investigations unfolded separately last month in Dededo and in Yigo. 

Guam Police Chief Stephen Ignacio remains mum on the case only sharing that his investigators are still working to solve it. 

“We have not publicly identified any of the victims to the media or anybody because they are still actively  under investigation. As far as any connection to either of the deaths, we have not established any direct connection to the deaths. They are being treated as separately as homicide investigations,” said Ignacio.  

As KUAM reported, one man's body was found inside a burning home along Chalan Kareta in Dededo. 

Days later, the body of another man was found inside a home on Chalan Donne Street in Yigo.

Though not much information is being released, authorities continue to ask the public for assistance.
