Medicare Part D open enrollment to open Oct. 16

The Department of Public Health and Social Services Division of Senior Citizens announced the Open Enrollment Period for the 2025 Medicare drug plans, also known as Medicare Part D, will begin nationally on Oct. 15, 2024.

For the people of Guam, it will begin  on Oct. 16, 2024 and will end on Dec. 7, 2024.

Throughout this period, Medicare beneficiaries may enroll in a drug plan, switch to a new drug plan or terminate from this voluntary prescription drug program. 

People with Medicare should consider their coverage choices and decide the options that best fits their health needs.

Medicare Part D Open Enrollment appointments are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., through Dec. 7, 2024 at the DSC office located at 130 University Drive Suite 8 Castle Mall building Mangilao, Guam.

Medicare Part D presentations will take place every Thursday beginning Oct. 17, 2024 and ending Dec. 5, 2024 at the DSC Office starting at 10:00 a.m. 

There will be no presentation on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving
