Man found unresponsive in head-on collision in Tamuning

A man is rushed to the hospital after a serious car crash in Tamuning early Sunday.

It happened around 4 am along Route 1 Marine Corps Drive near the Camacho Landmark Building.

The driver of the sedan collided head-on into a concrete pole.

Units with the Guam Fire Department responded and pulled the man from the wreckage.

He was unconscious and unresponsive, according to GFD spokesperson Lt. Nick Garrido.

Garrido added the unidentified man was rushed to the Guam Memorial Hospital with paramedics on board.

The driver’s condition has not yet been released.

Officers with the Guam Police Department are investigating.
