Man arrested in slingshot attack

A slingshot attack that resulted from an apparent parking lot war led to a man being taken into custody.

Thirty-three-year-old Marvin Haruo is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and assault, along with criminal mischief.

The alleged attack happened at the Compadres Mall in Dededo late Tuesday afternoon.

He allegedly told police got into an argument with another person who had double parked.

Haruo loaded the slingshot with a metal ball allegedly hitting two others and shattering a car window.

He claimed the others involved in the argument were armed with a knife and machete.
