Two people are placed under arrest in connection to a homicide investigation reported in Dededo more than one month ago.

Eithen James Mendiola, 25, is arrested on suspicion of aggravated murder, aggravated assault, destroying evidence, possession and use of a deadly weapon and guilt by complicity.

Frank Joseph Reyes, 24, is arrested on suspicion of disinterring of a corpse, destroying evidence, arson, obstruction of government functions and criminal facilitation.

The pair are being held in the Department of Corrections prison after detectives with the Guam Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division took them into custody on Monday.

As KUAM reported, the victim’s body was found inside a burning home on Chalan Kareta in Dededo on Sept. 9.

Police have not yet released the victim’s identity or any additional information about the arrest.
