Government of Guam retirees are expected to receive their cost of living allowance payments.

Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio sent this message to retirees today.

“Hafa Adai to all the people in Guam but in particularly to the more than 8,800 retirees and survivors of the Government of Guam. I am pleased to report that today the Department of Administration is transmitting more than $20.4 million to fund the retiree COLA at $2,300 per recipient. We hope that you will be able to utilize these funds to support your lives and we of course pledge our continued support to our retirees and survivors. Thank you very much,” said Tenorio.

The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio administration said they have made it a priority to ensure the timely payment of COLA to our island’s retirees since taking office in 2019.
