Elderly woman rushed to hospital after being pulled from waters in Tumon Bay

A 79-year-old woman is rushed to the hospital after a reported possible drowning in Tumon.

Units with the Guam Fire Department responded to the beachside behind the Dusit Thani Hotel just before 11 a.m.

Medics arrived to find that CPR was being performed on the woman after a lifeguard pulled her to shore.

She was not breathing and did not have a pulse.

Medics rushed her to the Guam Memorial Hospital with advanced life support on board.

Her condition has not yet been released.
