A chilling moment for workers and patrons midday Wednesday at two buildings located off Harmon Loop Road.

One man was seen on the roof as Guam police officers waited below and next door.

“They did come in and they showed me a picture of the person and they asked if he ever came in the store and I said no he hasn’t. I’ve never seen him before,” said a witness.

A frightening moment for this shop worker.

“It is scary. I was debating to lock my door,” they said.

Multiple Guam police officers swarmed the property. Sources told KUAM they were looking for suspects wanted in a burglary reported over the weekend.

Another eyewitness at the Harmon Loop Hotel said she acted quickly.

“That’s why I close the (door). Even the housekeeping,” they said. When asked how they felt, they said, “Syempre. I’m so scared before first time I experienced that.”

“They just showed the picture and I said that guy is upstairs,” they said.

KUAM asked, “How long has he been here?”

“It’s already been four or five days. They are already have a warning because everyday they have plenty of visitors and they are very loud in the room,” the witness said.

When asked if they suspect drug activity, they said, “I don’t know because housekeeping said they don’t want to clean the room and that’s why we don’t know.”

Officers spent about an hour at the scene after other businesses were forced to lock their doors.

By late Wednesday, Police Chief Stephen Ignacio told KUAM they would be releasing information on the incident.

No word if any arrests have been made.

As of newstime, police confirmed two men and one woman are in custody after they tried to run away from the second floor of the Harmon Loop Hotel.

The suspects' names have not yet been released.

Investigators confirmed the arrests are linked to a home invasion reported in Barrigada Heights.
