Over the last few weeks, our CNMI viewers got a chance to get involved and gauge who the community favors for CNMI delegate.
Five candidates are running for the D.C. seat: democrat Ed Propst, republican Kimberlyn King-Hinds, and independents John Gonzales, Liana Hofschneider, and James Rayphand.

The results show republican King-hinds came out on top with 525 votes, democrat Ed Propst with 170, and independents Gonzales with 112, Rayphand with 83, and Hofschneider with 6 votes.
We should note this internet-based poll was open to anyone who wished to participate.
As such, the results may not accurately represent the views of the broader electorate.
The results should not be considered a scientific prediction of the actual election outcome, as they do not account for factors such as voter turnout or shifts in public opinion leading up to the election.
