Drug dealer indicted in federal court

A federal drug indictment is unsealed in the District Court of Guam Friday.

Benzhe Shao, also known as Tiger, is charged with possession with intent to distribute fifty grams or more of methaphetamine.

The indictment was handed down by a grand jury on Oct. 23.

The allegations against Shao occurred back on July 26, court documents state.

Details of the drug investigation have not yet been made public.

He’s since pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Trial is scheduled for Jan. 3, 2025 before Chief Judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood.
