Man arrested in Yigo home invasion

A man is under arrest after being accused of breaking into an apartment unit in Yigo and attacking another man with a knife.

Befrey Eram, 26, is charged with burglary and aggravated assault.

Court documents state police were called to a reported home invasion in Yigo early Sunday morning when they found the suspect and another man fighting on the third floor balcony of an apartment complex.

A witness told police she knew Eram, adding that he was not allowed at the apartment.

Investigators note the suspect allegedly kicked in the door before getting into a fight with the victim.

Eram allegedly tried to stab the victim with a knife before being taken into custody.
