Woman in hit-&-run crash dies from injuries

A tragic update to an unsolved hit-and-run crash that unfolded at Deadmans Curve in Asan last month.

The family of Sheila Babauta confirms with KUAM that she passed away on Monday.

Loved ones are heartbroken as Babauta has been fighting for her life at the hospital since being hit by a car.

The driver took off from the scene.

Authorities have yet to catch them.

The crash happened on October 16th along Route 1 Marine Corps Drive in the area known as Deadmans Curve in Asan.

Babauta leaves behind a young son.

Family members are asking the community for help creating a GoFund campaign to raise money for funeral expenses.
