Also, results from the Presidential straw poll show who Guam wants to see enter the White House this election.
Mayor’s Council of Guam
There are some new faces in the Mayors Council of Guam.
The mayor-elect of Hagatna is Michael Gumataotao, Frankie Salas for Asan-Maina, Jesse Alig for Piti, kevin Susuico for Hagat, Dale Alvarez for Santa Rita-Sumai, Johnny Quinata for Humatak, Franklin Champaco for Malesso, Anthony Chargualaf for Inalahan and Vicente Taitague for Talofofo.
Brian Terlaje is the mayor-elect for Yona, Wayne Santos for Chalan Pago-Ordot, Robert Hofmann For Sinajana, Richard Arroyo for Agana Heights, Rudy Paco for MTM, June Blas for Barrigada, Allan Ungacta for Mangilao, Louise River for Tamuning, Peter Benavente for Dededo, and Frances Lizama for Yigo.
In the Vice Mayoral race, Christopher Fejeran for Hagat, Jessie Bautista for Barrigada, Edward Tosco for Mangilao, Albert Toves for Tamuning, Ann Leon Guerrero for Dededo, and Pedro Blas For Yigo.
Guam Education Board
All six candidates won a seat on the Guam Education Board as elected members.
They are Dr. Mary Okada, Dr. Judi Guthertz, Angel Sablan, Dr. Ron Mcninch, Peter Alecxis Ada, and Maria Gutierrez.
This is the group responsible for setting policy on what happens in your children's public schools.
Public Auditor & Consolidated Commission on Utilities.
Public Auditor BJ Cruz ran unopposed in his race.
He will remain Guam's Public Auditor.
Meantime, Melvin Duenas and Pedro Martinez garnered the most votes to sit on the Consolidated Commission on Utilities.
President of the United States (straw poll)
Guam participated in a straw poll where Guam voters picked Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as President and Vice President of the United States.
The democratic campaign got more votes over the republican campaign of Trump-Vance.
The results for this straw poll aren't included in the actual results for the Presidential race, but Guam's pick had previously predicted the outcome of the race for the White House.
