New indictment handed down against Valentine's Day shooter

A superseding indictment is handed down against a man accused in a deadly Valentine's Day robbery.

Defendant Domingo Mendiola pleaded not guilty to the charges before Magistrate Judge Jonathan Quan today. 

He is facing charges of aggravated murder and robbery in connection with the February shooting death of Sumittra Lairopi outside the Thai Thai restaurant in Tamuning. 

As we reported, investigators said the deadly robbery was carried out to get money to pay off a drug debt.

Co-defendant Jenna Manibusan is also facing related conspiracy charges.
