Guam police released a photo of a tattoo captured on the leg of the man found dead off Route 3 in Dededo earlier this month.
Detectives launched a death investigation after human remains were discovered along a trail near Hawaii Drive (FAA Road) on Nov. 1.
Police said the tattoo was located on the man's left outer lower leg area.
Authorities confirm the man was found wearing cargo pants and maroon or red shirt with black boots.
Officers are also trying to solve a separate death investigation after a shooting victim was left at the emergency room at the Guam Regional Medical City on Nov. 4.
The victim had been dropped off by an unknown man last seen wearing a cloth mask and a maroon shirt.
Investigators said the man provided minimal
information before he left in silver American made sedan with unreadable license plates.
Police have "tentatively identified" the victim in the second case, but officers are seeking additional information about the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Dispatch at (671) 475-8615 thru 17.
