The results of the autopsy performed show his manner of death was a homicide.

Guam Police Chief Stephen Ignacio confirms detectives need the public’s help in solving this one.

"Since that death was first reported to gpd upon the discovery of the body we have not been able to have any substantial leads in who this person may be and that’s why we decided to release the tattoo because that’s the only identifying body marking that we can use to push out to the public to help us identify this person. We looked at all of any past missing persons, any other cases that may be related but we haven’t established any direct connection between any missing persons or other cases that may help us identify this homicide victim," he stated.

Authorities describing the tattoo is an image of a turtle with the Guam Seal on the turtle’s shell, fish and waves below the turtle, two latte stones to the left of the turtle, and a tribal band between the upper latte stone and rear right flipper of the turtle.

The victim was found wearing cargo pants and a maroon or red shirt with black boots.

"It appears that the body was burned. We don’t know if that was an attempt to slow down the identification of the victim or destroy any evidence at the scene that may help police identify the victim or gather evidence moving forward, but we do know it appears it was intentional when we found the victim in a burned state," said the chief.

From one mysterious death to another. Police also asking the public for help to solve a shooting on November 4.

The victim was dropped off by an unknown individual to the emergency room of Guam Regional Medical City.

Investigators said the man provided minimal information before he left in silver american made sedan. He was last seen wearing a cloth mask and a maroon shirt.

An autopsy has not yet been performed on the victim.

"We do have substantial leads on a possible victim name and once we are able to get a positive confirmation on an identity then we can push that out," he said.

The two death investigations are now added to the ongoing September 11th homicide of Robert Revels.

Revels was found dead at a home on Chalan Donne.

Chief Ignacio leaving this message to the community: "The Guam police department has been and continues to work both these death investigations concurrently. We are looking for the assistance of the public. We need to remind the public that we are also looking at the revels case which is ongoing as well. Our detectives are very busy right now investigating these three death investigations. So if there is any information there is always crime stoppers or you can give us a call at dispatch (671) 475-8615 or 8617. "
