Tropical Storm Warning in effect for Guam and Rota

The National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office Guam issued a Tropical Storm Warning for Guam and Rota.

A tropical storm warning means that tropical storm conditions including winds of 39 mph or greater expected within 24 hours.

Tropical Storm Man-Yi is currently located 385 miles east of Guam.

A Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for Tinian and Saipan.

Meteorologists report maximum sustained winds remain at 45 mph with tropical storm force winds extending outward from the center up to 70 miles.

Man-yi is forecast to slowly intensify through Wednesday.
