Tropical Storm Man-yi brought some wind and rain as it made its approach to the Marianas.
As of 5 am, the storm was located 45 miles south of Guam.
It has maximum sustained winds of 50 mph and is moving west-southwest at 18 mph.
The storm is expected to turn slightly toward the west with little change in forward speed through Thursday.
Man-yi is forecast to intensify through Thursday, possibly becoming a typhoon.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 85 miles to the northeast and up to 50 miles elsewhere.
A tropical storm warning remains in effect for Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan.
Guam also remains in Condition of Readiness 1.
