The Salvation Army of Guam is calling on businesses, organizations, schools, families and friends to sign up as bell ringers for their biggest holiday fundraiser- the Red Kettle Campaign!

Volunteer bell ringers are more than an icon of the Christmas season; they're the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises the funds that sustain the services and programs the Salvation Army provides. When you volunteer to stand at a kettle, you're not just ringing a bell…you're changing lives.

Major Eric Tumale is the Guam Corps officer, and said, "Our partnership with the community is very important for us and their support, we can help continue to help others. Guam is suffering from food insecurity , all the funds we collect through this main effort of fundraising will be he used to help others throughout the year."

Tumale invites everyone to come out and be a part of something special that will get you into the holiday spirit, adding, "Last year was very exciting to witness how individuals and families and they're singing Christmas carols and I would love to see that kind of atmosphere during this Christmas time."

If you would like to sign up to be a bell ringer, all you have to do is go to registertoring.com and click on any of the three options, 'I'm ringing as an individual,' 'I'm ringing with a group,' or 'I'm a virtual ringer.' from there , you can select a day, a time, and a location.
