The Archdiocese of Agaña has announced that a serious allegation of clergy misconduct involving Rev. Fr. Antonino Caminiti, also known as Fr. Nino is under investigation. The incident, reported to have occurred 11 years ago, involves a boundary violation with an adult female during Fr. Nino’s time as pastor at Nino Perdido Y Sagrada Familia Church in Asan. Archbishop Ryan Jimenez emphasized his commitment to transparency and expressed concern for the well-being of all involved parties.

The allegation, forwarded by the Archdiocese’s Safe Environment Office, has been referred to the Independent Review Board for further investigation. Meanwhile, Fr. Nino will temporarily reside at the archbishop’s residence and is expected to undergo intensive renewal programs.

Archbishop Jimenez encouraged victims of clergy abuse to seek support through the archdiocese’s Journey to Healing for Survivors program and asked the public for prayers for all parties involved.
