Man admits attempt to have sex with teen girl

A 37-year-old man admits he tried to have sexual relations with a teenage girl. 

Ricky Quichocho pleaded guilty to attempted enticement of a minor before a judge in the District Court of Guam. 

He faces anywhere from 10 years to life in prison.

It was back in May, Air Force Special Investigations agents went undercoverin an online operation targeting adults engaging in illegal sex activity with children.

The agent went on a social networking app under the identity of a 13-year-old girl living on Andersen Air Force Base.

Court documents state Quichocho exchanged explicit messages with the agent for about a month believing he was talking to a teenage girl.

In June, Quichocho planned to meet outside the main gate where authorities made the arrest.

He admitted the conversations started as a sexual fantasy, but did not plan where he planned to carry out the act.

Sentencing is set for January 27th.
